📌Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2026 on 4 February 2026. The online application window is open until 24 February 2026 (6:00 PM). This recruitment is conducted for prestigious services such as IAS, IPS, IFS and other Central Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ services. The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination will be held on 24 May 2026, and around 933 vacancies are expected to be filled. Eligible graduates can apply online through the official portal upsconline.nic.in as per the prescribed rules and eligibility criteria.
A candidate must hold a Graduate degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
